Founded in 2006, RLC Engineering is a Maine-based engineering consulting firm that provides a full range of engineering services in the electric utility and renewable generation fields. Founded in 2006 with 6 employees, it has since grown to 120+ technical professionals with offices in Hallowell, South Portland, Bangor, and satellite offices around the Northeast. Serving electric utilities, regional grid operators, renewable energy developers, and infrastructure contractors, RLC provides innovative solutions for our clients including planning, feasibility studies (site selection, utility interconnections, cost estimating), detailed design, interconnection applications, permitting, and project management services for electrical substations, transmission lines, power generation facilities, and industrial plants.
