Founded in 2001, Wuxi Suntech Power Co., Ltd., headquartered in Wuxi, Jiangsu, China, is a major manufacturer of crystalline silicon solar cells and modules.The company has shipped over 55 GW cumulatively by end‑2024 to more than 100 countries.Its leading module lines—Ultra V, Ultra X, and Ultra V Pro—feature 182 mm PERC and advanced N‑type TOPCon cells achieving efficiencies above 25.6%.In 2022, Suntech began mass production of 2 GW of TOPCon cells via automated smart factory systems utilizing digital, IoT-driven technologies and AGV robots for high yield and quality control.Despite facing bankruptcy in 2013, it was reorganized under Shunfeng International in 2014 and remains active in global solar markets today.
