Founded on October 1, 1974, Taihan Fiberoptics (also spelled “Taihan Fiber Optics”) is South Korea’s pioneering manufacturer of optical fiber, optical cables, and synthetic quartz materials. As the country’s only vertically integrated producer—from preform through fiber drawing and cable assembly—they supply high-purity optical fibers (e.g. ANYWAVE®, low-loss Ultra Low Loss or bending-insensitive types) and high-density fiber cables designed for FTTH, 5G, data center, smart-grid, and long-haul telecom networks.. The company operates factories in Ansan and Yesan and maintains international subsidiaries in the U.S., France, Spain, and Singapore.
