Established in 2019, Cascadia Motion LLC by BorgWarner, merges the assets and operations of Rinehart Motion Systems and AM Racing into a wholly owned subsidiary based in Oregon. The company specializes in designing, developing, and producing electric and hybrid propulsion systems—particularly inverters, motors, integrated drive modules, gearboxes, charging systems, battery management components, and accessories—for niche and low‑volume applications. Its solutions serve professional motorsports (including F1, Formula E, MotoE), hypercars, motorcycles, buses, heavy‑duty and industrial vehicles, and aerospace projects. Cascadia Motion supports concept through low‑volume production with a path to high‑volume manufacturing via BorgWarner’s global facilities.
