Founded in 2019, FlexEnergi, based in Washington state, is an American-owned and operated company comprised of a team of electrical engineers, computer scientists, and program managers who are experts on the business and technical issues that utilities face today. FlexEnergi is a subsidiary of Accurint International and a member of the Net Zero Alliance. FlexEnergi provides VPP services for demand response, load shifting, and capacity to utilities across North America. FlexEnergi's technology uses residential and commercial DERs, including climate control devices, EVs and EV chargers, water heaters and batteries to reduce peak-power generation costs and grid orchestration to balance the distribution grid. FlexCharging, which was acquired by FlexEnergi, will continue to provide managed charging services.
