Founded in 2020, Advanced Infrastructure began its journey back in early 2020 when our co-founders decided to tackle the challenge of planning a whole systems Energy Transition. United by a shared frustration – that planning a net zero transition shouldn’t be this difficult – the team set out to build data and geospatial solutions to make it easier to understand the current energy baseline and take practical steps to cut carbon. Today, Advanced Infrastructure's award winning net zero software and data is supporting over 200 towns and cities, as well as 50% of Distribution Network Operators in the UK to accelerate, identify and plan energy interventions across transport, heat, and generation. By harnessing the power of digital twins and granular data our products are supporting clients in evidence based decision making across a range of net zero use cases including forecasting network capacity, building retrofits, heat networks, and electric vehicle infrastructure deployment.
