(ASP), established in May 2008 by international PV scientist Professor Wu Xuanzhi and his team, focuses on Cadmium-Telluride (CdTe) thin-film solar technology. From its inception, ASP has adhered to a strategy of independent innovation and technology-driven development. The company is dedicated to advancing CdTe technology from laboratory settings to large-scale production in China, aiming for higher efficiency and reduced costs. In 2015, ASP became the first Chinese firm to mass-produce CdTe thin-film photovoltaic (PV) modules.
