Organization Information : In 2013, Danish Energy Export is a collaboration between the Danish Export Association and Green Power Denmark, established in early 2024. Headquartered in Silkeborg, it supports Danish energy-sector firms—including wind, solar, bioenergy, CCUS, and Power‑to‑X—in expanding export markets. Services include organizing Danish national pavilions at global energy trade fairs, delegation tours, seminars, peer‑to‑peer networks, and exhibitor consulting. Operating with around 0–10 employees, the organization facilitates access to knowledge, networks, and practical support while clients focus on pitching and partnership development. Through structured export drives and intimate business groups, Danish Energy Export helps companies connect with international buyers and grow their presence globally, under member-driven governance.

Other Information: In 2013, with a view to reinforcing the Danish knowledge brand and supporting the wind power companies’ international sales even further, the Danish Export Association and Green Power Denmark (formerly Wind Denmark/ Danish Wind Industry Association) decided to merge their wind export activities and create a shared commercial unit. A unit tasked with establishing a strong platform to support the export business of more than 300 member companies, and serving as a catalyst for international growth. The result was Danish Wind Export Association, an association based in Silkeborg, Denmark, that stepped proudly into the arena on 1 January 2014. In 2024 the two merged partners decided to further develop their cooperation to follow the needs of an expanding energy sector with a lot of potential within various energy sectors. As of January 2024 the Danish Wind Export Association therefore expanded their activities to include the whole energy sector, meaning focus on wind together with Power-to-X, CCUS, Bioenergy, Solar power, Oil & Gas a.o.. In other words all exports interests of the danish energy companies will be focused on in the new Team, looking very much forward to offer new opportunities together with the already well-known planned activities for every year.
