Organization Information : Founded in 2016, Clean Energy Economy Minnesota (CEEM) is a nonprofit launched in 2016 in Minneapolis, dedicated to accelerating Minnesota’s clean energy ecosystem through educational leadership, policy analysis, collaboration, and public engagement. The organization publishes the annual Minnesota Energy Factsheet, which highlights that zero‑carbon energy (renewables + nuclear) supplied over 50 percent of electricity for five straight years and reduced power‑sector emissions by 52 percent in 2024 versus 2005. CEEM promotes smart energy policy and workforce growth, reporting that Minnesota had over 62,000 clean energy jobs in 2023 and rising. CEEM actively shapes state climate and energy legislation and supports business‑led stakeholder convenings and policy education.
